  This Privacy Policy describes how Apex Grind LLC (“Apex Lacrosse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the        

  LaxStats platform, including our SMS-based live stats service, player check-in system, and public scoreboard.                                         

  1. Information We Collect                                                                                                                                       

  We collect the following categories of information:       

  – Registration data — First name, last name, jersey number, position, date of birth, phone number, email address, and Instagram handle, as provided during

  tournament registration.                                                                                                                                        

  – SMS communications — The content of text messages sent to our LaxStats number, including player stats, commands, and replies to check-in messages. We also

  collect the phone number of anyone who texts our system.                                                                                                        

  – Game and stat data — Goals, assists, saves, faceoff wins, caused turnovers, ground balls, and scores logged during tournament games.                          

  2. How We Use Your Information                                                                                                                                  

  – To send player check-in confirmation texts before tournament games

  – To display live game statistics and scores on the public LaxStats scoreboard                                                                                  

  – To associate player names with jersey numbers for accurate stat attribution 

  – To communicate tournament logistics and operational updates via SMS                                                                                           

  – To detect and review unusual stat patterns for accuracy and integrity                                                                                         

  We do not use your information for marketing unrelated to APEX Lacrosse events, and we do not sell your data to third parties.                                  

  3. SMS Messaging                                                                                                                                                

  By providing your phone number during tournament registration and checking the opt-in box on our waiver, you consent to receive automated text messages from    

  Apex Grind LLC related to player jersey number check-in and confirmation, live stat logging, and tournament operational updates. Message frequency varies based 

  on tournament activity. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any message from us. To get help, reply HELP.

  4. Public Display of Stats                                                                                                                                      

  Player statistics — including first name, last name, jersey number, and in-game stats — may be displayed publicly on the LaxStats scoreboard during and after

  tournament games. Parents or guardians who do not wish for their child’s name to appear publicly should contact us at info@apexlacrosseevents.com before the    

  tournament.                                               

  5. Data Sharing                                           

  We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except Twilio (our SMS delivery provider) and as required by law.

  6. Data Retention

  Registration and stat data is retained for the duration of the tournament season and may be kept for up to 24 months for record-keeping purposes.               

  7. Children’s Privacy

  We collect information about minors only as provided by a parent or guardian during tournament registration. Parents and guardians may contact us to request    

  deletion of their child’s information at any time.
